Looking towards 2017
Open Day for the 1st semester 2017 will be on Wednesday January 25 2017 in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre (NCAC), Ridge St, Nambucca Heads. Doors will be open from 10.00am to 12.00 noon.
Membership for 2017 is now open. Please help your committee by paying your membership fee at least one week before open day. A big thank you to all the members who have already paid. For all members that have paid by then, your 2017 membership badge will be available for collection at Open Day.
When paying your fees, please ensure that you complete a membership form for each member, even if your contact details have not changed. Click here to download a PDF copy. Completed forms can be posted to U3A at PO Box 101, Nambucca Heads, NSW 2448.
Alternatively you can leave your form/s together with any payment in the Stringer Gallery when it is open. Place in an envelope addressed to U3A Treasurer and hand to the person on Gallery duty. The Stringer Gallery is in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre and is open:
- * 10:00 to 15:00 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- * 09:30 to 11:30 Saturday
Your committee are putting the final touches to the course list for the next semester. These will be mailed to all current members (2016 and 2017) at the beginning of January. There are some exciting new courses and events!
U3A in the Nambucca Valley is a strong and vibrant organisation that caters for older people. The members provide a stimulating learning environment and a range of social activities for each other.
Members of our U3A enjoy a diverse range of courses and events for a minimal annual membership fee.
Events include guest speakers and social gatherings, whilst our course list has a very broad spectrum that encompasses Health and Wellbeing, Science and Technology, Creative Arts and Dance, Fun and Games as well as Discussion Groups.
