Annual General Meeting - 2017
Members are advised that our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday March 8 2017 in the Small Hall of the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre (NCAC) in Ridge St, Nambucca Heads. The meeting will start at 10:00. All current members will receive the agenda and related information by the end of Feburary.
1st Semester 2017
Our first semester for 2017 is well underway. The new course list has been mailed to all current members but since printing there have been a couple of minor changes that are detailed below. An up-to-date web version (which excludes course leaders names for their privacy) can be downloaded here.
Membership for 2017 is still open. When paying your fees, please ensure that you complete a membership form for each member, even if your contact details have not changed. Click here to download a PDF copy. Completed forms can be posted to U3A at PO Box 101, Nambucca Heads, NSW 2448.
Alternatively you can leave your form/s together with any payment in the Stringer Gallery when it is open. Place in an envelope addressed to U3A Treasurer and hand to the person on Gallery duty. The Stringer Gallery is in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre and is open:
- * 10:00 to 15:00 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- * 09:30 to 11:30 Saturday
Amendments to Course List
Please note the following course changes since the course list was mailed out:
Philsopher's Cafe will start two weeks later on Monday February 20.
Spanish and Flamenco Sevillanas will both start two weeks later on Thursday February 23.
The email address for the Photography course leader has changed. Please use the listed phone number instead.
U3A in the Nambucca Valley is a strong and vibrant organisation that caters for older people. The members provide a stimulating learning environment and a range of social activities for each other.
Members of our U3A enjoy a diverse range of courses and events for a minimal annual membership fee.
Events include guest speakers and social gatherings, whilst our course list has a very broad spectrum that encompasses Health and Wellbeing, Science and Technology, Creative Arts and Dance, Fun and Games as well as Discussion Groups.
